5* for easy parking, good service, delicious food, affordable prices, decent/clean tables (kopitiam style) and relaxed atmosphere (i.e. No noise, no foul smells, gentle breeze blowing despite it being a hot day) My cousin chanced upon this Tze Char stall and since then he has recommended this place to our family. Verdict: - Sambal Kang Kong: quite a big portion for small size. Again, the usual good standard fare that you can find everywhere. - Assam Fish Head: we don't usually order this dish but since it's one of their signature dishes, we decided to go for it. The tangy gravy is appetizing and has a slightly spicy aftertaste. The fish was fresh and had lots of sweet meat. Good choice. - Claypot Tofu: the usual fare from Tze Char stalls, however, I find that the tofu is too little. Maybe it's just me. ;p - Salted Egg Yolk Fried Chicken: my daughter's favourite. However, if you don't particularly fancy salted egg of any kind, suggest not to order this. It's really an acquired taste. For me, it's not something I would order but personal preference aside, the dish is well done; kinda like chicken popcorn doused in salted egg yolk flour and fried. I heard that other places just pour salted egg yolk sauce over the chicken but here, it is incorporated into the flour mix. - Seaweed Soup: nothing spectacular but it's a comforting soup that we all enjoyed. Kids will love it. Would definitely go back again as I've been eyeing the Dinosaur Ribs that they were promoting. Apparently, another signature dish! Love the less-crowd, less-noise atmosphere which warrants another visit some time soon!
